Shall the Board of Commissioners of the Star Fire Protection District be authorized and empowered to increase its levy and budget, pursuant to Idaho Code Section 63-802(1)(h), to defray its cost of staffing, equipping, and maintaining the District's operations to provide protection of property against fire and the preservation of life, throughout the District. Specifically, an increase in the District's budget from property tax, beyond the amount the District is currently authorized to levy pursuant to Idaho Code § 63-802, by the sum of a two million two hundred twenty five thousand and No/100th Dollars ($2,225,000.00), commencing District's Fiscal Year 2026, and which amount shall then be added to the District's current established base budget amount for the purposes of Idaho Code § 63-802.
